Reflect, release, let go, learn.

“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”
- Albert Einstein

No matter how you feel about the end of a calendar year, it is one of those markers of time we can't really ignore. We find ourselves discussing 'wrapping up the year' and 'what we want more of in the year ahead'. Of course things won't suddenly change when the clock strikes midnight and we enter 2023. And yet, there is something about a new year and the feeling of a fresh start we perceive it to bring.

I know these next weeks will most likely be busy for you - traveling, feasting, and gathering with family or friends. But I encourage and remind you to find some time to reflect on and release 2022. A lot of learning gets instilled through reflection (hence why it is a big part of our LeadMe programme), and I find it to be a powerful part in recognising how much you have changed and grown, especially if you feel like you've been stagnating or stuck. Reflection offers us a way to process, move forward and plan ahead.

Below you will find questions from our team to help you reflect on 2022.

Rapid-fire round up of the year:

Ways I bloomed...
Places I went to...
People I met...
Friendships that grew...
New friendships made...
Favourite books, movies, series, songs...
New habits formed...
Goals achieved...
What I celebrated...
What I cried over...
Things that brought me joy...
Major milestones...

Longer reflection questions:

What worried me the most this year? How did I move through the worry?
What challenges did I overcome? How did I overcome them?
What disappointed me the most this year? Why was it disappointing?
What did I learn about myself?
